Title: MSSM Flavors from 7-brane Configurations of Magnetized SYM on (T^2)^3/(Z_2\times Z_2')

Superstring theory is a highly promising candidate for a unified theory thanks to its predictive power. In this talk, we show that chiral matter with semi-realistic flavor structures can be obtained from 7-brane configurations of magnetized 10D super Yang–Mills theory on the toroidal orbifold with background magnetic fluxes and Wilson lines preserving 4D N=1 supersymmetry. We find that the resulting zero-mode spectrum is essentially MSSM-like, up to three generations of right-handed neutrinos and additional Higgs pairs. Hierarchical Yukawa couplings arise from overlap integrals of localized wavefunctions in the extra dimensions, leading to semi-realistic quark and charged-lepton flavor patterns.
